OVEN & STOVE ISSUES

DOES NOT TURN ON

When an electric stove will not ignite, first be sure the appliance is plugged in and if all circuit breakers are on. You need to check the pilot light on gas models. If the appliance power cord is plugged in or if the pilot light is burning in the oven, then another part will have to be replaced. The reason for the issue could be an infinite switch, surface element, burner igniter or bake and broil element.

OVEN WILL NOT HEAT

A stove or burner or oven that does not produce heat won’t do much. Your oven will not heat when there is a broken oven sensor or a malfunctioning bake element. A burner doesn’t turn on if an element breaks or when the burner switch or terminal block do not work. We can repair these issues in less than 1-2 hours after our arrival.

TIMER ISSUES

You can assume the control board on a stove or oven is broken if the timer or program functions do not work. If that’s the case, we are able to replace control panels for LG, Sears, GE, KitchenAid, Kenmore and several other brands and models of stoves, ovens and ranges. We offer a warranty on all of the control boards and manufacturer parts we need for this type of oven repair service.

OVEN IS VERY HOT

You always need a hot oven. But not too hot! If the heat is out of control, it might be because of a problem with the sensor or thermostat. Our repairmen can identify the cause of the problem and repair it. Be careful when troubleshooting this issue for fear of body burns from the high and totally unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER DOES NOT LIGHT

A common stove problem is when an igniter will glow but it will not light. The cause is from either a broken surface igniter, safety valve, electronic control or sensor. We are able to determine if we are able to repair these parts or if we need to replace the part.

DOOR WILL NOT OPEN

New self-cleaning models of ovens can have door issues. The door doesn’t open after the oven cleans itself. We monitor the door latch, seal and thermostat to troubleshoot why the door does not open up and then complete the necessary repair in order to resolve the problem.
